Kota´s development
Engineer Kristian A. Kristensen. founded Kota A/S in 1981. He worked until 1991 as a
concrete contractor specialising in repairing concrete floors.

The production of screed rails started in 1985 on a small scale and with very simple production equipment. After the construction of a new factory and installation of new production equipment in 1987, the sales of screed rose vigorously, resulting with screed rails becoming the companies major activity by 1991 with the contracting side being phased out.

Kota`s Philosophy
Since the day we started manufacturing screed rails, it has been our philosophy to produce the best product on the marked through continued development of the product andmethods of production.

To achieve our goal, we are constantly working on developing new rail types, profiles, and performance methods, often in close co-operation with our customers.

We aim to deliver a quality product, which puts our customers in a position to produce the best and most efficient solution when constructing concrete floors. We are always ready to give advice to our customers on how to use Kota screed rails.

With advice Kota screed rails can be used on almost all types of concrete flooring and gives a strong joint between the bays.

Floor construction is the most important part in industrial buildings. If it brakes or is damaged for the customer it can lead to long production stops and it is often necessary to remove machines and shelving to repair the damage.

You have one chance to make a good concrete floor and that is before the concrete hardens.
